Seven Day Mendocino Planner
MENDOCINO WINE COUNTY—No matter when you arrive in Mendocino,
there's something happening. WineCountry.com takes a seven-day
look at events happening each and every day of the week this spring.
Keep in mind that some of these events are ongoing, throughout
the year, and may happen on days other than those specified here.
Call in advance to make sure they can accommodate you on whatever
day you plan to go.
Mendocino Botanical Gardens, Plant Identification
Walks, First Monday of the Month
The Gardens' Nursery Supervisor will lead special walks to help
you learn many of the Gardens' plant varieties. Walks start at
2pm. Fee included in Gardens' admission price. Mendocino Coast

TUESDAY
Visit the galleries of the Mendocino Art Center
The Mendocino Art Center is an educational,
exhibition, and resource center for the visual
and performing arts located 150 miles north of
San Francisco in the quiet coastal village of
Mendocino. The Art Center has earned national
and international reputations which attract an
impressive selection of renowned faculty members,
yet has remained small enough for productive
dialogs between students and teachers, professional

WEDNESDAY
Fort Bragg Farmers Market, May 4 - October 26
In the heart of Fort Bragg, next to City Hall each Wednesday.
Vendors bring a wide variety of foods, including; fine crafted
cheese, fresh fish, honey, fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Open Mic Night at College of the Redwoods - Every
Second Friday
Open Mic night provides a great opportunity for musicians, poets and performers
to showcase their talents in a fun, supportive and non-judgemental environment.
Sign-ups are encouraged, so please arrive early. The CR campus is located at
1211 Del Mar Dr. in Fort Bragg.7:30pm to 10pm.
SATURDAY
Boonville Farmers Market
Locally grown and prepared plants, vegetables, fruits, bread, coffee and
flowers. Located in the Boonville Hotel parking lot every Saturday. Hwy 128
at Lambert Lane,9:45 am to 12 pm.
Ukiah Saturday Farmers Market, May 6 - October 28
This market draws vendors from the county's coastal climate to provide
cool weather crops throughout the season, as well as seafood. Ukiah provides
a friendly atmosphere where talented musicians entertain community members who
relax with organic coffee and freshly baked pastries. School & Clay Street.,8:30am
to 12:30pm.
Second Saturdays in Mendocino
On The Second Saturday of every month in Mendocino Village from 5-8 pm.
Downtown galleries and businesses stay open later on that Saturday evening with
receptions and events for exhibiting artists.
SUNDAY
Tour the Redwood Valley
Valley grown chardonnay, hillside reds and another of Mendocino's cognac-quality
brandy are produced where the first Mendocino wineries were established.
From north of Ukiah to Redwood and Potter Valleys, organic vineyards proliferate
and small producers stand out for their individualized winemaking styles
