True to the tradition of the wine-loving Italian families who settled Mendocino County in the 19th century, Parducci's fresh, fruit-forward, easy drinking wines are meant for the dinner table and are handcrafted to ensure consistent, reliable quality at affordable prices. Our winemaking style showcases the pure varietal character of the fruit as it originates in the vineyard, undistorted by strong oak character or harsh tannins.

SAUVIGNON BLANC
The fruit from our Sauvignon Blanc comes from vineyards in Lake County, just east of Mendocino. Because the vineyard is between 1,000 and 1,200 feet in elevation, it's cold in winter and early spring, which delays bud-break until mid-April. As a result, the grapes mature later in the season, ensuring full flavor development. Our Sauvignon Blanc displays bright citrus and melon aromas and flavors with the zingy herbaceous tone and crisp character Sauvignon Blanc lovers find so appealing.

CHARDONNAY
At Parducci, we eschew the heavy, woody, buttery style favored by many California Chardonnay producers and instead use oak as an accent rather than as a dominating influence; thus showcasing the variety's fresh, engaging, apple, pear and citrus fruit aromas and flavors. As a result, our Chardonnay is delightfully approachable: a rich, but refreshing white wine that beautifully complements a wide range of foods.

PINOT NOIR
Produced primarily from grapes grown in Anderson Valley, the acclaimed, cool-climate region near the Mendocino coast renowned for its fragrant, supple Pinots, this Mendocino County bottling exhibits a distinctly varietal aroma of strawberry and raspberry fruit with hints of mint, spice, wild herbs and tea-leaf.

MERLOT
To create a Merlot both age-worthy and enjoyable to drink young, we source high-quality fruit from carefully selected Mendocino and Lake County vineyards and age the wine for an extended period in small oak barrels to round out its body and smooth its tannins. The wine's rich, juicy and spicy black cherry flavors are long and smooth on the palate and are further enhanced by a savory, toasty oak undertone.

ZINFANDEL
"America's heritage grape," is a true national treasure. Mendocino County is blessed with many older Zinfandel vineyards planted on ideal benchland and foothill sites. At Parducci, we have a special production facility inside our winery to handle the fruit from these small-volume old vineyards. This gives us unprecedented control over each site, especially important given that we source zinfandel grapes from two-dozen vineyards.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Features full-bodied, concentrated flavors, a pleasing complexity and a delicious drinkability. Our Cabernet Sauvignon typically asserts an enticing, complex aroma of ripe blackberry, black raspberry and cassis fruit, with hints of mint, cedar and sweet oak vanillin. On the palate, spice and toasty oak tones mingle with lush fruit flavors of ripe currant and wild berry.

PETITE SIRAH
Parducci is among a handful of wineries which pioneered Petite Sirah as a varietal wine in California and we have a long tradition of producing outstanding reds from this marvelous, underrated variety. Aged for an average of one year in American oak barrels, our Petite Sirah is delicious to drink young, but possesses the depth and structure to age well for several years. It displays a dark ruby color and yields seductive aromas of dark ripe berries, cocoa, loam and oak toast.

RESERVE WINES
In exceptional vintages, Parducci produces special reserve bottlings from the finest Mendocino County vineyards. These wines, produced in very small quantities, are available for sale only at the winery. Look for our Reserve Merlot, Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, and Reserve Petite Sirah when you visit.
